John B. Robertson, 80, of Paducah, KY passed away at Lourdes Hospital on Monday, August 5, 2024.
Mr. Robertson was born on July 14, 1944 to the late Bee and Ozella Robertson. He was of Baptist faith and loved the Lord dearly. He was a member of Faith Center of Paducah.
John always had a love for cars. He started living his dream in 1962 as a car salesman. He opened his first Chevrolet Dealership in Leitchfield, KY in 1972. After moving to the Paducah area, John started Under 5000 Car Lot and later purchased Toyota of Murray in 1989. He never stopped living the dream of buying and selling cars even when his health tried to intervene. This lead to endless friendships near and far. He was a very devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved deeply.
John is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol Robertson; two sons, Mike Robertson of Paducah, KY and Brad (Bridget) Robertson of Paducah, KY; seven grandchildren, Hannah Ridden of Austin, TX, Caroline (Zach) Williams of Bardwell, KY, Sydney Robertson of Paducah, KY, Hope (John) Doughty of Paducah, KY, Lauren (Tanner) Southern of Calvert City, KY, Jordan (Austin) Jarboe of Paducah, KY and Amber Jackson of Paducah, KY; seven great-grandchildren, Reese, Xavier, Ava, Kamryn, Korbin, Keeleigh, and Ollie; along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 9, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Pastor John Akin officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, August 9, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until the service time of 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date.
