JoAnn Milam, age 94, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 5:40 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center. JoAnn was born in Saltillo, Tennessee on February 17, 1931 to Thomas Grissom and Iva Stanfill Grissom. JoAnn was a member of the Lone Oak First Baptist Church. JoAnn was a homemaker and enjoyed family being around. She was able to travel on many trips with family throughout the world. JoAnn was a true “Southern Belle” lady in her dress and enjoyed the finer things in her home. JoAnn spent many hours with her Siamese Cats.
Survivors include two sons, David Milam of Memphis, TN and Daniel Milam and wife, Brenda, of Paducah, KY; two grand children, Benjamin Milam (Kacye) and Rebekah Milam; three great-grandchildren, Westin Milam, Wyatt Milam andd Wade Milam.
Preceding in death was her husband in 2020, Louis W. Milam Jr.; parents, Thomas and Iva Grissom; one brother, Gene Grissom.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brookhill Cemetery in Lone Oak, KY with Rev. Jeff Wallace officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
