Jerry Lynn Gibson

Jerry Lynn Gibson, 79, of Paducah, Kentucky, formerly of Wickliffe, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah.
 
Jerry was born in Bardwell, Kentucky on July 19, 1943 to the late Richard and Gertrude Thomason Gibson.  He was a member of Wickliffe First Baptist Church.  Jerry served his nation with the National Guard and was a member of the Wickliffe Masonic Lodge #625.  He enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams play, especially the University of Kentucky Basketball and St. Louis Cardinals Baseball games.  Jerry will be remembered by his family as being the most loving father and grandfather. 
 
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Missy (Don) Howell of Kevil, Kentucky; his son, Jason (Jennifer) Gibson of Kevil; a sister, Joyce Gossett of Du Quoin, Illinois; two grandchildren, Courtney Howell and Justin Gibson; one niece, Jackie Mundy and two nephews, Bob and Rich Gossett.     
 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Toni Jo Doke Gibson; and his parents.
 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Rev. Daniel Fraser officiating.  Burial will follow at Wickliffe City Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time of 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the funeral home.
