Jerry Ann Pendleton, 70, formerly of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at her home in Paducah, Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Jo Ann Pendleton and survived by her sister, Carolyn King (Kenneth), her brother, Doug Pendleton (Pam), niece, Leah and nephews, Adam and Aaron (Lizzie) and great-nephew, Silas.
Retired from a lifetime career in the National Parks Service, she was a strong voice and successful advocate for our National Park treasures ensuring they would endure for many generations. She was a world traveler and a lover of all crafts. Her philosophy of life was influenced by Charlie Brown: “Learn from the past, live for today, look forward to tomorrow, rest this afternoon.” Rest in peace, dear sis.
There will be no public service held.
