Jeremy Lee King, age 40, of Troy, Tennessee, formerly of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Jeremy was born in Lincoln, Illinois on June 19, 1982 to Ricky and Karen King. He was a 2000 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and received his Bachelor's degree and Masters in Safety Engineering from Murray State University. He was a Safety Consultant and was the Principal Owner of CSP-Safety.
Jeremy loved hunting, fishing, playing on the farm with his kids, and really any activity that allowed him to be outdoors. He also enjoyed traveling and finding unique purchases at souvenir stations along his travels. He will be remembered for being loud, outgoing and someone who never met a stranger. He had a wealth of knowledge that was accompanied with a big smile and an unforgettable laugh. He was always "the boss" and his "fun facts of the day" will be dearly missed.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, Terri Doughten King; two daughters, Anna Starr King and Ellie Morgan King; one son, Owen Lee King; his parents, Ricky and Karen King of Paducah; one sister, Nakomi Feldmann (Jason) of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother, Joshua Lee King of Paducah; his paternal grandmother, Betty Ruth King; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Levon and Lavonda Chilcoat and paternal grandfather, Cayce King.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Joel Reynolds officiating.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until the 6:00 pm service time of Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
