Jeff Gillespie, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at the age of 52 on Friday, June 13, 2025 in Paducah, Kentucky. Jeff was born on January 12, 1973, in Alton, Illinois.

Jeff was a member of Heartland Church where he learned to live his life with a steadfast faith and compassionate spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew him. He had a fierce love for his family, and as a devoted father, he never missed a chance to cheer on his sons at their karate events. His loud cheers and words of encouragement were as much a part of the matches as the sport itself. Jeff's passion for helping others was evident in the many years he spent volunteering at the Concord Fire Department. His commitment to serving his community was unwavering, and his colleagues remember him not only for his bravery but also for his ability to uplift and inspire. His life was a testament to the values he held dear - faith, family, and service. Jeff was an all-around sports fan with a special passion for Alabama football and loved to coach and referee from his couch. He also loved to spend time fishing with his boys.  Jeff loved his God with all his heart and actively lived out his faith every day. It was this deep-rooted belief that led him to become an organ donor, a final act of service that exemplifies the generous and selfless nature by which he will always be remembered.

Jeff Gillespie's passing leaves behind a void that will be felt by many. Yet, the memories created with him will continue to provide comfort and joy to those who had the privilege of crossing paths with such an extraordinary individual. He lived a life marked by love, faith, and vibrant engagement with all that he held dear, leaving an indelible mark on the world that will not soon be forgotten.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Tabitha Powell Gillespie of Paducah, Kentucky; a daughter, Hayvin Gillespie; two sons, Brayden Knight and Camden Choat; a sister, Karen (Mark) Kellenberger of Paducah, Kentucky; two sister-in-laws, Tiffany Sudduth of Frankfort, Kentucky and Tasha (Daryl) Cauthen of Dixon, Tennessee; a brother-in-law, Tyler (Mandy) Powell of Paducah, Kentucky; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tommy and Debbie Powell; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Arlene Anderson Gillespie.
