Jason Smith

Jason Alex Smith “Smiley” 40, peacefully passed away holding his mother’s hand on Friday, July 8, 2022.
Jason was a graduate of Livingston Central High School, SAE Creative Media Institute in Nashville, TN as a sound engineer & DJ and attended Austin Peay University.

He is survived by his parents, Linda and Rick Smock (mother and stepfather); sister, Jamie Smith; step-sisters, Shawna Mobley and Denise Sermersheim; nephew, Cole Wood and niece, Cori Smith.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Smith; grandparents, Jay and Ruth Coleman, Alex and Irene Smith.
Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah on 120 Memorial Drive in Paducah with Reverend Brian Nance of Concord United Methodist Church officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, July 11, 2022 and from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the funeral home.
Jason will then be taken to the Salem United Methodist Church cemetery in Clarksville, TN for burial where there will be a short graveside ceremony by Tom Neville (uncle) around 2:30 PM.
