Jason Lynn Gibson, a man whose humor and charm brought light and laughter to those around him, passed away on December 26, 2024, at Baptist Health Paducah. Born on the last day of 1974 in Paducah, Kentucky, Jason's zest for life and love for the outdoors were unmistakable. He was an avid fan of hunting, fishing, and enjoyed cruising in his Toyota truck through the bottoms.
Jason was of the Christian Faith. He found great pleasure in following his favorite TV shows, Supernatural and Bones and was a supporter of UK Basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals. Jason was a remarkable father, a genuine, loveable soul, and possessed an uncanny ability to bring a smile to people's faces with his wit and warm spirit.
Jason is survived by his wife of 23 years, Jennifer Wallace Gibson; one son, Justin Gibson of Paducah; one sister, Melissa J. Gibson Howell (Don) of Kevil; one niece, Courtney Howell; his aunt, Joyce Gossett; and three cousins, Bobby Gossett, Richie Gossett (Joella) and Jackie Jo Mundy (Jack).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Lynn Gibson and Toni Jo Doke Gibson.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Bro. Daniel Fraser officiating. Burial will follow at Burkley Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the 12:00 pm service time on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe.
