Jason Craig Buchanan

Jason Craig Buchanan, age 51, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 5:42 P.M. Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital.

Jason was born in Paducah on Wednesday, May 3, 1972 to Jack and Linda Buchanan. He was an avid fisherman, a fan of the Pittsburg Steelers, and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He was an excellent cook who shared his skills with family and friends.

Mr. Buchanan is survived by his parents, Jackie Owen Buchanan and Linda Marie Pruitt Buchanan of Paducah; his brother, Brad Buchanan of Paducah; his uncle and aunt, Wayne and Ellia Pruitt; his cousins, Derick Pruitt of Brookport, Illinois and Jill Pruitt Helm of Minor, Missouri.

Mr. Buchanan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny and Marie Pruitt, formerly of Brookport and Elliot and Lavern Buchanan, formerly of Paducah.

A memorial visitation is scheduled for 1:00-3:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.

In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy can be made to the McCracken County High School Fishing Team In Honor of Jason Buchanan, 6530 US Highway 60 West, Paducah, KY 42001.
