James “Jim” Patton, 64, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 6:59 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Champaign, Illinois to the late Harry Patton and Sue Swinford Patton. Jim worked for the State of Kentucky in the Family Services Department. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church where he was church Organist and Choir Director.
He is survived by his partner, Kevin Linder of Paducah, Kentucky; two brothers, Dan Patton of Memphis, Tennessee and Bill Patton of Benton, Kentucky.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Grace Episcopal Church with The Rev. Charles Uhlik officiating. Private urn burial will be at Benton City Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Grace Episcopal Church.
