James “Jim” Davis, age 73, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 8:41 P.M. Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at his home.
Jim was born in Paducah on Saturday, March 18, 1950 to Lowell and Helen Davis. He served his country in the National Guard and was a car enthusiast who enjoyed classic cars and auto racing. He was very fond of his dog Eugene, and will be remembered for the great love he had for his grandchildren.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lisa Kaye Tate Davis; his sons, Matt Davis of Paducah and Jonathan Davis (Paige) of Powder Springs, Georgia; his step daughter, Callie Phillip of Ledbetter, Kentucky; his sister, Carolyn Lambert (Monty) of Paducah; his brother, John Davis (Jackie) of Paducah; his two grandchildren, Elin and Joseph Davis; his four step granddaughters.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell Wesley Davis and Helen Louise Calvert Davis.
A public graveside funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bob Martin officiating.
There will be no public visitation.
