James A. Litty, age 94, of Paducah, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at his residence.
 
James was born on October 20, 1928 in Sligo, Missouri to Arthur James Litty and Mary Clarice Murray Litty.
 
James is survived by three daughters, Linda Litty of Evansville, Indiana, Jamie Thomas of Miami, Florida, Tracy Litty of Columbia, Missouri; one son, Stan Litty of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister, Peggy Whitaker of Salem, Missouri, along with four grandchildren.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Shirley Litty, and his parents.
 
A private family service will be held at a later date.
