Jaden Lucas Smith age 21, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on January 25, 2025, at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Jaden was Born on July 21, 2003, to his parents, Derek Jordan Smith and Angela Michelle Hall. Jaden's passion for life was evident in his love for the outdoors. He spent countless hours hunting, and was an incredibly talented fisherman. Jaden was also known for his work ethic and took great pride in any job or project that he pursued.
Jaden found great joy in basketball. He enjoyed playing basketball as a kid and would watch any game that was on television. Jaden had an uncanny ability to brighten people’s day simply with his smile and unwavering positivity. His warm heart also extended to his beloved pets, his loyal dog “Jasper”, and his cat “Dynamite”.
Jaden is survived by his mother, Angela Michelle Hall and father, Derek Jordan Smith; two sisters, Stacey Penrod and Kendallyn Smith; a brother, Mason Nichols; his grandmothers, Leslie Rollins and Vickie Hall; his great-grandmother, Colline Smith; his aunts, Brittany Walters and Jessica Hall; an uncle, Jarrett Smith; and several cousins, including Christian and Caden Bivins.
He was proceeded in death by his brother, Devin Penrod.
