Jacquelynn Adams, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22, 2024, in Paducah, Kentucky.
“Jackie”, as she was known to friends and family, was born in Morris, Illinois, on Wednesday, June 5, 1946, to Charlotte and John Evans. Jackie’s heart found its true love when she met and married William Adams, and together they embarked on life, where they owned and operated Hamlin grocery in Hamlin, Kentucky.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughters, Teresa Ellis (Wayne) of Cedar Grove, Tennessee, and Tina Kowalczyk of Morris; her son, Vincent Kowalczyk (Sheryl) of Hubert, North Carolina; her sister, Sue Thompson (Ron) of Bement, Illinois; her brother, John “Butch” Evans (Marlene) of Plainfield, Illinois; her grandchildren, Christy Kabalen (Andy), Michelle Wilson, Phillip Wilson (Mary), Nathan Kowalczyk (Ally), Ryan Kowalczyk (Sarah), Justin Kowalczyk; her 13 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, William Adams; her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Dakota Kowalczyk; her parents, John Evans and Charlotte Mae Sisson Richardson; her special dog “Butch”.
The family will be holding a graveside memorial service, scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 17, 2025, at St. Dennis Catholic Church Cemetery in Hickman County, Kentucky.
