Iris Ransom

Iris Elaine Dennis Ransom, age 77, of Paducah, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
 
Iris was born on June 27, 1945 in Wickliffe to Bill and Gladys Dennis.  She enjoyed antiquing, gardening and meeting people.  She was of the Methodist faith.
 
She is survived by her son, Brian Hightower of Cadiz; two sisters, Billie Hammett (Tommy) of Wickliffe, Phyllis Stephens (Lee) of Paducah; two grandchildren, Megan Hightower, Abigail Hightower.
 
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 35 years, David Oneal Hughtower; her second husband of 25 years, Terry Earl Ransom; one sister, Patsy Marshall and her parents.
 
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Bardwell Cemetery with her son, Brian Hightower, officiating.
 
There will be no public visitation.
