Irene Elizabeth Griggs Harman, 101, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on July 21, 2024, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah, Kentucky.
Irene was born in Paducah, Kentucky, on December 27, 1922, to the late Charles and Grace Spraggs Griggs. She was a member of Reidland Methodist Church and a homemaker. Irene loved gardening, doing yard work, and always took good care of her home. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Irene is survived by her grandchildren, Kelly Seay (Greg) and Jason Harman, both of Paducah, Kentucky; and four grandchildren, Garrett Seay, Tyler Harman, Ian Hooper, and Jaycee Baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jack Edward Harman; her son, Roger Dale Harman; four sisters, Zelma Arrington, Thelma Barnett, Francis Morris, and Mary Catherine Wiggins; four brothers, Thomas L. Griggs, Vernon W. Griggs, Charles Griggs, and Robert Griggs; and her parents.
