Glen F. Riley, a cherished husband, respected businessman, and honored veteran, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2024, at the age of 88 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah, KY. He was born on October 2, 1936, in Benton, KY, to the late Wavel and Pauline Watkins Riley.

Glen proudly served his country as a member of the US Air Force during the Korean conflict, a period of his life that instilled in him a deep sense of patriotism and camaraderie. After his military service, he returned to his roots in Kentucky and channeled his leadership skills into entrepreneurship. He was the retired owner and operator of Oh-Riley's Furniture in Paducah, Glen was known for his integrity, work ethic, and personal attention to each customer.

Glen's interests were a reflection of his life's experiences. He was a member of Twelve Oaks Baptist Church. He found joy in visiting military museums, and his love for gardening was evident in the vibrant blooms that adorned his home each season. Above all, Glen cherished the simple pleasures of life, like spending quality time with his beloved wife, DJ, and his adored cat, Thomas.
 
Glen is survived by his wife of 25 years, DJ Riley of Paducah; two daughters, Karen Riley Shelby of Paducah and Sonia (David) Travis of Paducah; two sons, Henry Jo Lyon of Benton, KY and Jeffrey Lyon of Paducah; nine grandchildren, Amelia Riley, Alex Riley, Shelly Neihoff, Jamie Pearson, Jennifer Smith, Alex Burt, Natasha Ethridge, Dalton Lyon and Joey Lyon; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild along with several nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Mitchell Riley; four sisters, and one brother.
 
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.  A private family graveside will be later.  Burial will be at Brook Hill Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Paducah.
