Gertrude “Trudy” Creech, 85, of Paducah, Kentucky formerly of Lexington, Kentucky passed away at 4:50 p.m. Friday at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center. She was born on November 28, 1939 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Berry Gross and Lucille Melton Gross. Trudy was the retired owner and operator of Paritz Beauty Salon in Lexington along with several other salon’s in Lexington. She enjoyed playing bowling.
Trudy is survived by her son, William B. Freeman, Sr. and wife, Sansie C. Freeman of Paducah, Kentucky; four grandchildren, William Berry Freeman, Jr., twins Joseph Mitchell Freeman and James David Freeman, Jon-Michael Freeman and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Creech; three sisters; four brothers and her parents.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Lexington, Kentucky.
