Gary A. VanNoy, born on August 28, 1944, in Towanda, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 27, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of service, camaraderie, and a warm indomitable spirit. A proud US Army Veteran, Gary shaped his career with grit and determination, notably as a respected Salesman for Case Equipment, an adept Heavy Equipment Operator, and a seasoned long-haul truck driver.

His passion extended beyond his professional life; Gary was an enthusiastic bartender who could both mix a great drink and share a life lesson. His love for football persisted from his high school playing days, inspiring him to guide young athletes as a dedicated football coach. Contributing further to his community, Gary served as the Director of the APA League in Charleston, Missouri. He was strongly anchored in his faith and previously attended first Assembly of God in Charleston, Missouri.

Gary found great joy in spending time with his grandchildren. His life was a tapestry of hard work, meaningful connections, and heartfelt contributions. His presence will be profoundly missed by those who knew him and cherished the joy he brought into their lives.

Mr. VanNoy is survived by his daughters, Lisa Burns (John) of Sour Lake, Texas, Tina Gedeon (Brian) of Santa Clarita, California, Kimberly Finch (Logan) of Lufkin, Texas, and Sarah Jo Crowley (Justin) of Wickliffe, Kentucky; his sister, Becky Craig of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; his brother, Jake VanNoy (Katherine) of New Hampshire; his 13 grandchildren; his eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. VanNoy was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Bonnie Jo Spight VanNoy; his parents, Jacob VanNoy and Doris White VanNoy; and his sister, Sharon Miller.

No services are scheduled at this time.
