Mr. Gary Solon Williams, 80, of Paducah, KY, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025. Gary was born October 28, 1944, to the late Thomas and Mary Bell Williams.
Gary worked in the construction industry for over 50 years. He started out as a brick mason. In the mid 60's he was presented with a great opportunity to partner with his brother Gerald to develop and build one of the largest Masonry and General Construction companies in the Western Kentucky area, which included Industrial Maintenance at CC Metals and Alloy. In his later years he began developing residential and commercial buildings. The satisfaction of all his tenants was his main priority. Until late you would find Gary sitting around a table drinking coffee and solving the world's problems with the rest of the crew at the Little Castle. When Gary was not working, he enjoyed spending family time at Kentucky Lake.
Gary is survived by son, Matthew (Nicole) Williams, daughter Hannah Williams both of Paducah, KY; two grandchildren Bo and Blake Williams; three sisters Jan (Ed) Creagh of Rock Hill, SC, Sue (Martin) Operle, and Sherry Fuqua both of Paducah and many nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Mary Bell Williams, two brothers Gerald Williams, and Walter Williams, niece Cindy Williams and nephew Jeremy Williams.
