Fredrick Dale Gamblin, age 76, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Friday, October 11, 2024 at his residence. He was born on Monday, December 15, 1947, in Madisonville, Kentucky, to Edward Lee Gambin and Susie Estelle McRoy Gamblin.
A dedicated machinist, Dale spent 40 years maintaining and repairing locomotives and rebuilding diesel engines. Dale retired as a foreman with VMV Railroad. Dale had a passion for fishing, hunting, bowling, playing his guitar and he loved his sports cars.
Dale loved being with his family and his kind heart drew people to him.
Mr. Gamblin is survived by his three daughters, Sabrina Titsworth (Tab) of Benton, Kentucky, Adrena Wooley (Chris) of West Paducah, Kentucky, and Dawn Graff (Mark) of Panama City Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren, Alexandria (Robert) James, Dexter (Tyler Thomas) Titsworth, Jessie (Logan) Holland, Paige Smith, Andrew (Allie) Hicks, Lauren Everheart, and Jack Graff; eight great-grandchildren; his significant other, Charlotte Gambin; one brother, Rick Gamblin (Betty) and one sister, Mary Gray.Mr. Gamblin was preceded in death by both parents; four brothers, Wayne Gamblin, James “Jimmy” Gamblin, William “Bill” Gamblin, and Michael Gamblin; one sister, Linda Gossett.
A private “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
