Eugene Gobel Holder III

Eugene Gobel Holder III, 64, of Arlington, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah.
 
Eugene was born on November 17, 1959 in Clinton, Kentucky to the late Eugene Gobel Jr. and Betty Sue Moss Holder.  Eugene was of the Baptist faith and attended Columbus Baptist Church in Columbus, Kentucky. Eugene was a very hard worker throughout his life. He was a deckhand for Ingram Barge, a farmer for Streit Farms in Vernon, Texas, a farmer/truck driver for Bobby Grogan, and worked as a mechanic. When Eugene wasn’t working, you could always find him spending down time at home with his beloved family and loyal dog, D’Jango by his side.
 
Eugene is survived by his only son, Houston (Emily) Holder of Clinton, Kentucky; two brothers, Gene (Freda) Bolin and Dale Holder both of Columbus, Kentucky; one grandchild, Sadie Jo’Ann Holder; and several nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife Lorri Holder; one brother, Mitchell Bolin; two sisters, Judy and Kim Holder; and his parents.
 
There are no services scheduled at this time.
