Elaine Marie Stuart, age 63, cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Lourdes Mercy Health Paducah on April 28, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of professional service exemplified through her work as a certified first assistant surgical technician and of devotion to her family and friends.
Known for her quick wit, Elaine's love for her family was immeasurable; she was an amazing "nana" to her eight cherished grandchildren as she provided them with great joy and unwavering support. Her beloved cat Steven, a constant companion for 15 years, was a treasured part of her nurturing home.
Elaine’s passions led her into many sun-filled escapades to places like Disney World and Gulf Shores; she loved to travel to the beach. Her commitment to her work was paralleled by her active involvement at Victory Baptist Church, where her faith and fellowship left an indelible mark on the community.
Elaine is survived by two daughters, Erica (Codie) Franklin of Lone Oak and Morgan (Terry) Stuart of Paducah; her mother, Charlene Adams Stuart; one sister, Vivian Stuart of Symsonia; eight grandchildren, Audrey Wildman, Jayde Stuart, Ariana Stuart, Jaxx Wildman, Vincent Franklin, Journee Wildman, Alton Franklin, and Olive Franklin; dear friends, Kelly Sloan and Patti Evens; several nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Leon Stuart and two brothers, Junior Stuart and Vernon Stuart.
A graveside funeral service will be held at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens chapel on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 1:30 P.M. with Bro. Daniel Fraser officiating. Visitation will be held at the Paducah Chapel of the Milner and Orr Funeral Home on Monday, May 5, 2025 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.
