Eddie “Moon” Mullen Jr,

Eddie  “Moon” Mullen Jr, age, 90, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 12:49 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2024, at Providence Pointe Nursing and Rehab Center.   

Eddie was born July 12, 1933, to the late Eddie Mullen Sr. and Miami Marshall Mullen.  Eddie was a member of Southland Baptist Temple.  He was retried from Illinois Central Railroad where he worked as a Conductor and Brakeman.  Eddie played many rounds of golf at Paxton Park Golf Course in Paducah for several years.  Eddie was a veteran of the U.S. Army having been a part of the 101st Airborne Division.

Survivors include one son, Daryle Dean Mullen of Louisville, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Austin Mullen, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Caitlin (Tim) Bowman, Louisville, Kentucky and Jeremy Felker, Paducah,  Kentucky; five great-grandchildren, Hayden Bowman, Wilson Bowman, Isaiah Bowman, RaeLynn Felker, Claire Felker; one sister, Shirley June Watson, one brother, Larry (Jeannie ) Mullen;one son-in-law, Ted Hahn, one sister-in-law, Velva Mullen all of Paducah; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nonnie Jean Davenport Mullen;  one son, Mark Mullen; one daughter, Carol Jean Mullen Hahn, who was the twin sister of Daryle; parents; one sister, Anna Pinnegar; four brothers, James Paul Mullen, Daniel “Kayo” Mullen, Charles Mullen and David Mullen.

Services will be held on Friday,  June 21, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Boogie  Butler and Danny Orazine officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. Visitation will be held Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home from 11:30 am until service time of 1:30 pm.
