Dr. Crystal L. Rose, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 44. She is survived by her husband, Robin Irwin; her son, Thomas Irwin; and her parents, Ralph and Linda Rose. She was preceded in death by her brother, Brent Rose.
Crystal Rose, M.D., M.S. died after a struggle with pancreatic cancer. Dr. Rose was a pathologist who was committed to utilizing her training and diagnostic skills to benefit patients in her hometown. In addition, she was a valedictorian of Marshall County High School in 1997. She graduated from Murray State University with a BS in 2001 and MS in 2003. She graduated from University of Kentucky Medical School in 2007. She did her residency at Indiana Health Ball Memorial from 2007 to 2011. She completed a surgical pathology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2012. She was a partner at Pathology Associates of Paducah. Crystal was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoyed the fiber arts and martial arts. Most of all she loved her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Pastor Charlotte Overmyer and Bro. Dave Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at Calvert City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
