Dorothy “Dot” Barnhill

Dorothy “Dot” Barnhill, age 85, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 1:21 p.m.  Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Mercy Health Lourdes.  Dot was of Baptist faith and retired as a cook for Midland Barge Company.
 
Survivors include two grandchildren, April (Billy) McDonnell and Tammy (Ricky) Hodges both of  Paducah; four great-grandchildren, Gabriel Thweatt, Elissa McDonnell, Stephen Potts, and Shelby  Dukes.
 
Preceding in death were two sons, Randy Timmons and Danny Timmons; mother, Bertha Jones Dockrey; one granddaughter, Krysten Timmons; and one great-grandson, Neil Potts.
 
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Spring Hill Cemetery in Hickman County, with Rev. Jason Logsdon officiating.
 
Visitation will be held Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
 
Expression of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105, or to the McCracken County Humane Society, 4000 Coleman Road, Paducah, Kentucky 42001.
