Donna Huntley, 58, passed away at her residence in Fancy Farm, Kentucky, on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
Donna was born on December 14, 1965. Her life was marked by her compassionate spirit and relentless dedication to those she served in her various professional roles. Throughout her career, she brought comfort and care as a Home Health Aide with Brightmore, skillfully tended to patients as a phlebotomist at Lourdes Hospital, contributed meticulously as a medical secretary, and adorned many with her talent as a hairdresser. Donna's devotion extended beyond her work. She was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, an animal lover, and a beacon of hope as a breast cancer survivor. Her love and resilience will live on in the hearts she touched.
Donna is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Leslie Huntley of Kirbyton, Kentucky; a daughter, Hannah Huntley of Kirbyton; her mom, Florence Gibson Jackson, two brothers, Kent Jackson of Florence, Kentucky, and Kerry (Debbie) Jackson of Kirbyton; a sister-in-law, Vickie Jackson; two nieces, Erin (Matt) Tillman and Jennifer (Nick) Sanders; and five nephews, Kyle Jackson, Ryan Jackson, Chris Jackson, Kirk Jackson, and Slayde Huntley.
She was preceded in death by her father, Martin Leon Jackson; and her brother, David Jackson.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Kirbyton Cemetery with Mark Wilson officiating.
