Don “Bubba” Michael Krone, age 61, of Calvert City, Kentucky, passed away at his residence on Friday, March 29, 2024.
Don was born in San Diego, California, on April 25, 1962, to Donald S. Krone and Deloris Jean Krone Seay. Don was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as a jet mechanic. Don Mike will be fondly remembered for his love of life's simple pleasures. Riding his bike brought him immense joy, as did indulging in his enthusiasm for westerns on TV, and video games on his phone. He was a dedicated history buff and could often be found engaged in books and documentaries, always eager to learn more. However, his greatest pride was in his love for his two grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Intelligent and kind, Don left a lasting impression on all who knew him. His presence will be profoundly missed by his family, and friends.
He is survived by his son, Jacob Krone (Emily) of Paducah, Kentucky; two sisters, Debbie Krone-Villela (Phil) of Las Vegas, Nevada and Donna Krone-David (Donny) of St. Cloud, Florida; brother, Donald Day of Louisville, Kentucky; father and step-mother, Donald S. Krone and Shirley Krone of Paducah, Kentucky; mother and step-father, Deloris Jean Neal Seay and Leo Seay of Calvert City, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Liam and Remi-Kate Krone; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Brian Hodge officiating.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
