D. Joan Estes

D. Joan (Heath) Estes, age 84, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at home on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
 
Joan was born in Willington, North Carolina on February 7, 1938 to Herbert Eugene and Mabel (Cookson) Heath. She was of Methodist faith. Joan loved crocheting, sewing/quilting, gardening, painting, and bird watching.
 
She is survived by her children, Michael Wilson Estes of Paducah and Robin Renee (Estes) Jackson of Stafford, Virginia; two sisters, Mabel Jean Underwood of Columbus, Ohio and Betty Heath-Camp of Bluffton, South Carolina; three grandchildren, William Jackson of Anchorage, Alaska, Andrew Jackson of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Robert Jackson of Clarksville, Tennessee; and three great grandchildren.
 
Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Wilson “Wil” Ray Estes Jr. and both of her parents.
 
Memorial service will be Sunday, February 22, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating.
