Craig Alan Hayden, 62 of Paducah passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at his residence in Paducah.  He was born on January 1, 1962 in Paducah, Kentucky to Paul Richard and Susan Shoulta Hayden.

Raised in the faith that would guide his every step, Craig's education in the Catholic tradition instilled in him values that shone through his extensive career in healthcare. For a remarkable 25 years, he served as a Traveling ER Nurse, a role that saw him bring comfort and care to countless individuals across the nation. His medical journey began as a Paramedic & EMT, where he honed the skills that would define his professional life.

Craig's voice was a familiar and beloved presence on the airwaves as the "Orange Man," a Radio Disc Jockey for WKYQ & WLLE. His charisma and love for music made him a local celebrity, and his natural ease behind the microphone made every broadcast feel like a conversation with a dear friend.  When not tending to patients or entertaining listeners, Craig could be found indulging in his favorite pastime: watching TV.

He is survived by his mother, Susan Shoulta Hayden of Paducah; a son, Nicholas Shawn (Kristina) Hayden of Lexington, KY; a daughter, Stephanie (Peter Grimyser) Hayden of Sun Praire, WI; three grandchildren, Madelyn Kratochvil, Noah Kratochvil and Hudson Hayden; two brothers, Joey Hayden of Paducah and Glen Hayden of Sarasota, FL.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Richard Hayden.

A Memorial service will be at 12:00 PM Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Lone Oak with Rev. Mike Clark officiating.  Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Paducah  Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Lone Oak.
