Cory L. McManus, 46, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 4:46 AM at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Cory was born in Paducah, Kentucky on August 16, 1978, to the late Thomas “Tommy” McManus and Belinda Leigh McManus. Cory was a 1996 graduate from Reidland High School and a 2001 graduate from ITT in Evansville and received a Bio-Medical Degree in 2004. Cory worked in the Bio-Medical field for 20 years. The past 11 years he worked for GE Healthcare in Nashville, Tennessee. Cory took great pride in his work ethic and his job with GE. He was a member of Gospel Mission in Reidland. He loved to spend time with his family; he was big-hearted, a sweet and compassionate person who would do anything for anyone. Most of all, Cory loved his mother, they would spend time on the phone talking.
Cory will be remembered for his kind heart, and compassion for his family, friends, and animals.
Our separation from Cory is only Temporary, and a future filled with Joy and Love awaits us.
Cory is survived by his mother, Belinda Leigh McManus of Paducah; a sister, Lindsey (David) Cavitt of Paducah; two aunts, Tyanna (Bruce) Austin of Paducah, and Teresa Berkley of Mississippi; an uncle, Frank McManus of Calvert City; a nephew, Lincoln Jones; two nieces, Alli Jones, and Mady Cavitt; his two dogs, Phoebe and Winston; and his cat, Kitty.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas “Tommy” McManus Jr.; and his uncle, Rodney Berkley.
Private family funeral services will be held at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
