Corey Andrew Lovelace, 50, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at his home.
Corey was born on August 3, 1975, in the community that he would cherish all his life. Corey graduated from Heath High School in 1993 and enrolled in the United States Navy after graduation. While in the Navy, he was assigned to the U.S.S. Boise. Corey attended Murray State University, where he pursued a degree in Occupational Safety and Health. Corey was employed by Paducah Ford. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting deer, duck, quail, and rabbit. He also enjoyed training and working with his hunting dogs.
Corey exemplified a spirit of joy and kinship that resonated with everyone he met. Corey was known for his infectious laughter and unwavering optimism. A true embodiment of the phrase "life of the party." An adventurous soul, Corey carried his zest for life into the thrilling world of racing dirt bikes and playing golf. His admiration for the sport was more than a hobby; it was a pursuit that showcased his daring nature and relentless desire for freedom and excitement. Above all, Corey's greatest love was for his family. He was a pillar of strength and love to them, his devotion unwavering in its depth and constancy. His family was the cornerstone upon which he built a life full of joy, support, and shared memories.
Corey is survived by his loving wife of five years, Ashlyn Lovelace of Paducah; a daughter, Hannah Thorson of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; two sons, Andrew Thorson of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and Kyzer Lovelace of Paducah; and his ex-wife, Michelle (Kyle) Campbell of Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Becky Ann Lovelace Hall.
The Lovelace family will hold memorial services at the end of October.
