Connie Diane Peyton, age 72, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 7:21 a.m. at Baptist Health Paducah.
Connie’s parents were Bill Moore and Mildred Gibson Moore. Connie had retired from Backwoods Bar-B-Que, where she had been the kitchen manager for over 20 years. Connie had a special place in her heart for animals, especially dogs, cats, and birds. She loved playing board games, trivia, and watching movies.
Survivors include one daughter, April Crabtree, of Cave City, Kentucky; two step-daughters, Joey (Charles Allen) Finnell of Paducah, Kentucky, and Jenny (Randy) Thomas of Benton, Kentucky; one step-son, Jamie (Paula) Peyton of West Paducah, Kentucky; two sisters, Tammy (Mike) Dunker of Kevil, Kentucky and Mevlyn (Greg) Chism of Benton, Kentucky; one brother, Mark Moore of Kevil, Kentucky; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nephews Brandon (Toni) Spittler of Smithland, Kentucky, Tyler (Lauren) Dunker of La Center, Kentucky, and Jake Dunker of Kevil, Kentucky.
Preceding in death were her husband, David E. Peyton; parents, Bill & Mildred Moore; nephew, Cody Moore, and her furbabies Smokey, Cache, and Toby.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Benjamin Linzy officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
