Cheryl Lynn Bates

Cheryl Lynn Bates, aged 58, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025. Born on April 29, 1966, in East St. Louis, Illinois, Cheryl was known for her unwavering warmth and her nurturing spirit.

As a dedicated homemaker, Cheryl created a loving home filled with care and kindness. Her home was a hub of creativity and comfort, where she often could be found immersed in her arts and crafts, a passion that brought joy to her and beauty to the world around her.

Cheryl's gentle smile and generous heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Her legacy of love, creativity, and kindness continues to inspire and resonate with friends and the broader community.
She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Robert Conrad of Fulton, Kentucky; two sons, Jeremy (Stephanie) Johnson of Franklin, Tennessee, and Jamie (Kelsey) Bivens of Wingo, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Jefferson Johnson, Julianna Johnson, Jacqueline Johnson, Rylee Bivens, and Bo Bivens; a sister, Melanie (Mike) Kostelac of The Villages, Florida; and a brother, Michael Martin of Fulton, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Caryl Deatherage Martin.
