Charlotte Lynn Dick, 84, of Paducah and formerly of Benton, KY passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025 surrounded by family at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah, KY. She was born on November 15, 1940 in Crittenden County, KY.
Charlotte retired after years of service as an invoice clerk at Walmart and Sam's Club. Charlotte was admired by her colleagues for her work ethic and gentle demeanor. Her commitment to her job was paralleled only by her devotion to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, where she was a cherished member.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Staci (Kurt) Averill of Paducah; daughter-in-law, Laura Dick of Benton; sister, Sheila Puckett of Ledbetter, KY; five grandchildren, Noele (Josh) Lott, Danielle (Kyle) Condon, Blake (Samantha) Averill, Wes (Ellen) Averill, RaeAnn Naughton; seven great-grandchildren, Kaelynn Dick, Brilee Dick, Wyatt Lott, Cooper Lott, Evelyn Averill, Charlie Condon and Emily Naughton along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life for 35 years, her husband, Charles Robert Dick; son, Charles "Tony" Dick; daughter, Debbie Dick Naughton; and grandson, Charles Ryan Dick.
A funeral mass will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 2, 2025, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Rev. John Thomas and Rev. Mike Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Marshall County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
