Carolyn Walker-Pierce

Carolyn Walker-Pierce, 78, of Paducah, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023 at her residence.
 
Carolyn was born on April 21, 1944 in Paducah to the late, Wilson “Mutt” Walker and Anna Mae Free Walker.  She was a hair dresser for Carol’s Beauty Salon and a member of Southland Baptist Temple.  She loved fishing and riding around in cars to attend flea markets and yard sales, and admired beautiful flowers and dogwood trees.  Carolyn also loved to watch the television show Gun Smoke and play word search games.  Carolyn was known for her sweetness, her smile, and generous hugs and I love you’s.
 
Carolyn is survived by two daughters, Tammy Pierce of Paducah and Patty Reynolds (Victor) of Boaz; two sons, Tommy Joe Amis of Paducah and Ronnie Joe Cooper (Peggy) of Boaz; seven grandchildren, Oddyssey Rogers, Ashley Baker, Whitney Cooper, Jake Amis, Isaac Reynolds, Kristie Ison and Kevin Garrett; eleven geat-grandchildren; a very special niece, Sandy Ross Jones (John) of Paducah; a very special nephew, Popeye Ross of Paducah; her dear friend, Nina Thomasson of Paducah; and her granddog, Itsy B.
 
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ann Ross; three brothers, Don Wilson Walker, Harold Gene Walker and Paul Joe Walker; and her rat terrier, Fergie Lou Pierce.
 
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Bro. Dennis Lawrence officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah.
 
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the service hour of 1:00 pm on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
