Carolyn Thompson

Carolyn Thompson, 75, of Paducah, passed away at 2:15 a.m., Friday, February 4, 2022 at her home.  She was a graduate of St. Mary High School and a member at St. Francis de Sales Church in Paducah. 
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Reed Thompson and her parents, James and Cora Mae Sanders.
 
Carolyn is survived by two daughters, Debbie Thompson Jones (Scott), Leigh Anne Thompson (William); one son, Chris Thompson (Angela); one brother, James Edward Sanders Jr.; two sisters, Margaret Ann Futrell, Patti Sanders; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Jones Deatherage (James), Jamie Jones Angles (Mark), Randa Jones Parker (Daniel), Jared Jones (Blakely), Spencer Sorensen, Amy Dowdy (Brannon), Crystal Thompson, Johnathan Thompson; along with her greatest joys, her 13 great-grandchildren.
 
Funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Father Gary Clark officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with prayers at 7:30 p.m.
