Carl White, Bowling Green, Kentucky formerly of Lone Oak, Kentucky
 
Carl White went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 15, 2024 surrounded by his family. 
 
Carl was a long time community member of Lone Oak, an active member of the Lone Oak First Baptist Church.  For many years Carl and wife, Shellie supported McCracken County Schools for their children. grandchildren, and others.  They never missed ballgames, cheerleading competitions, band competitions, booster meetings or fundraisers.  Carl was a member of the Corvette Club and enjoyed the many miles traveling with club members.  Carl was loved and a friend to many.  Carl was born on May 28, 1943 to the late Wilsie Oscar White and Mary Marjorie (Capps) White in Jeffersonville, Indiana.  Carl and Shellie married on March 16, 1963.  Carl graduated from Central City High School in 1961.  Carl was retired from TVA where he worked as a chemist. Carl was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan, enjoyed bird hunting and his weekly golf outings with his friends.
 
Carl is survived by two daughters, Carla (Jamie) Simpson and Cristi (Andrew) Wilson both of Bowling Green Kentucky; two sons, Cary White of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Craig (Stephanie) White of Louisville, Kentucky; seven granddaughters, Kelly (Jon Ross) Giraudo, Megan (Chris) Hall, Tera (Brandon) Loague, Carly Mathews, Lindsey (Evan) Gammicchia), Morgan White and Shelby White; five great grandchildren, Ethan Giraudo,  Jones Giraudo, Reece Hall, Kinley Hall and Myles Hall; one brother, Robert (Karen) White of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
 
Preceding in death was his wife, Rachelle “Shellie” White in 2019; parents, Wilsie Oscar White and Mary Marjorie (Capps) White.
 
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2024 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Martin officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.   
 
Visitation will be held Friday, December 20, 2024,  from 10:00 a.m. until the service time of 1:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
