Carey Ann Rickard, 46, of Melber, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 3rd, 2025. Carey was born on August 7th, 1978, in Paducah, Kentucky.
Carey was a graduate of Graves County High School class of 1996. Carey was a loyal employee at XPO Logistics for 22 years. Customers loved her, and she grew great friendships there.
Carey was truly one of a kind. The purest heart who never met a stranger. Being a wife to Matt and a mother to Wyatt will always be her greatest accomplishment, and everyone who knew her knew that. She was everyone’s cheerleader, always rooting for all of the children at whatever game she present for. Carey was always the biggest personality; her laugh and smile could light up any room. She most certainly left a positive impact on anyone she met, other than the refs. Carey was an avid University of Kentucky fan and an extreme Peanuts collector.
Our separation from Carey is only temporary; a life of joy and love awaits us.
Carey is survived by her husband and son, Matt and Wyatt Rickard; her mother and father, Marie and Steve White; her sister, LeAnn Moyers; her mother-in-law, Rita Rickard; and her sister and brother-in-law, Kyle and Angel Owen.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Larry Rickard.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the service time of 2:00 p.m. at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Loan Oak.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 9th, 2025, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak. With Bro. John Smithmier officiating. Burial will follow at Allcock Cemetery in Melber, Kentucky.
