Buford McGee

Buford McGee, 87, of Arlington, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 at his home.
 
Mr. McGee was born in Burkley, Kentucky on January 23, 1936 to the late Adrian McGee and Carrie Burge McGee. Buford was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church, who loved his church family. He enjoyed serving his community by serving on the Bardwell City Police and the Burkley Fire Department for many years. He loved to bar-b-que and fish.  Buford will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
 
Buford is survived by his wife of 17 years, Deborah Robinson McGee; two daughters, Melinda Cole (Jeff) of Clinton, Kentucky and Denise Lee (Rodney) of Hamilton, Alabama; one son, Chris McGee (Debbie) of Burkley, Kentucky; two step-sons, Eric Robinson (Claire) of Bardwell, Kentucky and Robert Robinson (Misty) of Paducah, Kentucky; one sister, Hilda Cannon (Carly) of Arlington, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Deidre McGee, Casey McGee, Mason Robinson, Hailey Robinson, Ashley Robinson, Tori Robinson, and Amanda James; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Pat McGee Chaney; three brothers, Tommy McGee, Kenny McGee, and Gary Wayne McGee.
 
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Rev. Gaylon Bruer officiating. Burial will follow at Burkley Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
