Bryan Brantley

James Bryan Brantley, 40, of Murray, died on January 9, 2024 at Jackson Memorial West Hospital in Miami, FL.
 
Bryan was born March 29, 1983 in Paducah, KY. He is survived by his wife, Robyn.  He was a graduate of Heath High School and then attended Paducah Community College.
 
With a keen business sense, Bryan was an entrepreneur and not afraid to take risks. He valued the impact small businesses make on a community. He and his wife, Robyn, have owned/operated several small businesses in the region including Night Moves Cocktail Bar most recently.
 
Bryan was an adventurous traveler who was always planning his next trip with his bride. His favorite destination was Iceland where he and Robyn hiked to the top of an active volcano, toured the coast from a boat in the Artic Ocean and chased the Northern Lights. He made connections with everyone he met on his travels but there are a special few that he treasured so very much. His love for every animal provided homes for so many including ducks, chickens, fish, horses, ponies, dogs and cats.
 
Survivors include his wife, Robyn; their children, Addison and Canyon of Murray; mother, Kathy (Terry) Hunt of West Paducah; sister, Sandy Stone of Barrington, IL; brother, Greg Stone of Clarksville, TN; nieces, Lyla and Lucy Ruff of Barrington, IL; nephews, Owen Ruff of Barrington, IL, Taylor Young of Louisville; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
 
Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Larry Brantley; grandparents, Delma and JR Brantley and Catherine “Snookie” and James Elliott.
 
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Ben Boone officiating.  Burial will follow the service at McKendree United Methodist Church Cemetery in West Paducah.
 
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
