Brittany Renee Mason, Loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away in Paducah, Kentucky surrounded by her family July 14, 2023 after unexpected health complications at the age of 31 joining her late son, Elijah D. Reynolds.
Born in Memphis, TN on May 25,1992 to Lura J. Newsom, Brittany grew up in Olive Branch, Mississippi where she made countless friends and memories. She then met her husband, Cody Hicks, and they relocated to Mayfield, Kentucky to raise their two children. Brittany dedicated her life to her children.
Brittany, even though she was severely allergic, was a lover of animals. Her favorite of all were horses. Brittany had a witty sense of humor and warm heart. She will be missed beyond measure.
Brittany survived by her Husband, Cody Hicks; her daughter Emma Hicks; her son Jackson Hicks; Mother Lura Newsom; grandmother Linda Newsom and grandfather Larry Newsom; her three sisters Mandy Almond , Morgan Mason ,Hayleigh Mason; mother-in-law, Tammy Hicks; father-in-law Travis Hicks.
She was predeceased in death by her son, Elijah D. Reynolds.
