Brian Mathis, age 53, of  Boaz, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, just shy of his 54th birthday. As an emergency room nurse, his selfless service graced the halls of Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital, Murray/Calloway County Hospital, and Marshall County Hospital. Brian's profound love for his family knew no bounds. He was a beloved husband, a cherished father, and a doting grandfather-a true patriarch whose guidance and warmth nurtured his family's growth. His legacy is characterized by the selfless love he gave, the wisdom he imparted, and the ever present humor with which he lived his life. Brian's benevolent spirit and kind heart will be dearly missed and forever remembered by those whose lives he touched. He was a member of Life In Christ Church in Marion, Kentucky.
