Brenda Kay Lyman Terry

Brenda Kay Lyman Terry, age 63, of Bardwell, Kentucky, formerly of Oakton, Kentucky passed away on October 22, 2023, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
 
Brenda was born in Clinton, Kentucky on April 7, 1960, to the late Charles “Turby” and Rachel Pauline Jackson Lyman.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Brenda worked for more than ten years as a Housekeeper at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bardwell.  She was a kind, giving, and loving person who would open her home to anyone in need.  Brenda loved attending garage and yard sales and working in her flower garden.  Most importantly, she loved her family unconditionally, especially her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
 
Brenda is survived by her daughter, Jana Terry of Clinton; her son, Jesse Terry of Bardwell; three sisters, Betty Sue Green of Mayfield, Patricia Lyman of Clinton, and Kathleen Grubbs (Randy) of Clinton; six brothers, Charles McDaniel (Mary Jane) of Clinton, Jerry Lyman of Clinton, Mike Lyman of Mayfeild, John Lyman of Clinton, Kevin Lyman of Clinton, and Gary Lyman of Clinton; two grandchildren, Ellie and Lawson Stinson; several nieces and nephews and her ex-husband, Tim Terry, and her mother-in-law, Janice Simon.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Larry Gene Lyman, Raymond McDaniel, Paul McDaniel, Robert Lyman, and Leroy McDaniel; and her sister, Mary Lou Lyonhurst.
 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Billy McDanel officiating.  Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the service hour of 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
