Brenda Jane Jackson Sera, 82, of Arlington, Kentucky, passed away on January 18, 2025, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.
Brenda was born on January 23, 1942, in Mayfield, Kentucky, to the late Grayson and Edith Flegle Jackson. Brenda dedicated her professional life to caring for patients as a skilled surgical technician with Lourdes Hospital, a role in which she took great pride in for over 20 years. Her true dedication was to her family, who she loved dearly, including her dog “Cookie”.
A devoted member of the Arlington First Baptist Church, Brenda's faith was integral to her life. Her involvement with her church community was a reflection of her enduring love and commitment to fellowship.
Brenda is survived by her son, Mike (Sally) Sera of Arlington; grandsons, Austin Sera and Jacob Ball; five step-grandchildren, Shawn Greer, Sarah Greer, Hope Greer, Megan Greer, and Mary Greer; and 3 great-grandchildren, Isabella Ball, Harmony Willis, and Grayson Ball.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Sera, and her parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Bro. Mark Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the funeral home.
