Boyce Hawes

Boyce Hawes, age 75, of Paducah, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Mercy Health Lourdes.  Boyce attended the Lone Oak Church of Christ and was a 1966 graduate of Lone Oak High School.  Boyce was born on August 9, 1948, to the late William Lindy Hawes and Louvette Cullen Hawes.  Boyce retired after 45 years from Petter Supply Company as a salesman.
 
Boyce was an avid NASCAR fan and had kept up with drivers and the races for years.  Boyce loved having the family around; his two grandchildren were his life's center.
 
Survivors include his wife of nearly 56 years, Nancy Carney Hawes; one son, Chad (Robin) Hawes of Paducah; one brother, David (Marsha) Hawes of Paducah; two grandchildren, Anna Kate Hawes and Carter Boyce Hawes; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
 
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Paul Wingfield officiating.  Burial will follow at the Kansas Cemetery in Graves County.   Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
