Robert "Bob" Scott, passed away at his residence on January 11, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on November 4, 1950, in Columbus, Kentucky, he was a member of the Springhill Baptist Church and a highly proficient drywall and sheetrock finisher who took great pride in his craft.
A Navy Veteran, Bob had not only served his country with honor but also made a significant impact on his local community. His skills as a drywall and sheetrock finisher were unparalleled, characterized by a perfectionism that earned both respect and admiration from his community and friends. Above all, Bob was a wonderful father and husband, whose absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. His passion for fishing was only surpassed by his love for his family and friends. His kind and well-loved presence will be profoundly missed.
Bob is survived by his wife of 34 years, Reba Scott; sons, Steve (Kimberly Merritt) Chadduck, of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Jason Chadduck, of Green Bay, Wisconsin; one daughter, Kelly Scott, of San Diego, California; two brothers, Tony (Sharon) Scott, of Marshall County, Kentucky and Joe (Pan) Scott of Huston, Texas; and two grandchildren, John David Sayre and Autumn Loehr.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Eugenia Scott; a son, Ryan Matthew Scott; and a brother, Larry Scott.
A Memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home in Bardwell with Bro. David Crowder officiating. Burial will follow at Columbus Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time of 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home in Bardwell.
