Barry Lee Crowe
Barry Lee Crowe, 77, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at his residence.
Barry was born on December 1, 1948, to the late Clovis and Nina Lewis Crowe in Louisville, Kentucky.
Barry was of the Church of Christ faith. He devoted more than 30-plus years of service to USEC, where he worked as an Instrument Mechanic. His long career reflected his skill, commitment, and work ethic. Outside of work, Barry enjoyed a wide range of interests that brought him happiness and reflected his energetic spirit. He loved cars, boating, motorcycles, and guns, and he found enjoyment in the knowledge, craftsmanship, and excitement each of these interests offered. He was also an avid audio system enthusiast, and he appreciated quality sound and the enjoyment that came from building and listening to a great system. These hobbies were more than pastimes to him. They were part of the life he enjoyed and the passions that made him who he was.
Barry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sally Shelton Crowe; a son, Tony Crowe, and his wife, Amy of Paducah; two grandchildren, Jake Cowles (Nadine) of Nashville, Tennessee, and Stone Crowe of Paducah; a great-granddaughter, Charlotte Cowles; niece, Jennifer Thompson (Rob) of Murray, Kentucky; nephew, Clark Crowe (Beth) of Metropolis, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Courtney Crowe, and his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with Steve Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the service hour of 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
