Barbara Gayle Smith

Barbara Gayle Smith. 68 of Paducah, passed away at 8:30 AM Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah.
 
Barbara was born on January 12, 1955 in Tell City, IN to William Henry & Nellie Scott Whistle.  She was of the Christian faith and worked from her garage and resale shop, refinishing furniture. She loved spending time with her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
 
She is survived by a daughter, April (Gabe) Townsend of Paducah; two sons, Denny (Kim) Smith of Paducah & Adam (Robin) Smith of Symsonia; three sisters, Dot (Tom) Marchand of Tell City, IN, Carolyn Black of Camelton, IN & Bonnie Wagner of Belleville, IL; one brother, Henry (Redina) Whistle of Tell City, IN; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren & several nieces & nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford Cissell; her sister, Linda & her brother, Daniel.
 
There are no services scheduled at this time.  Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
