Asher Timothy Roger Melton

Asher Timothy Roger Melton, age 2, of Mayfield, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023. 
 
Asher was born in Paducah, Kentucky on March 31, 2021 to Thomas and Arianna Kingery Melton of Mayfield.  His name means “Happy”, and Asher lived the happiest life for every moment of every day.  He was incredibly affectionate, but also quite mischievous.  Asher loved to cuddle up with anyone who would hold him.  His best friend in the whole world was his big sister and he was the world’s best little brother.  He loved to watch the Disney movie, Moana and went everywhere with his beloved blanket, which is how he got his nickname “Linus”.  
 
Asher is survived by his parents, Thomas and Arianna Kingery Melton; a sister, Arya Melton; a baby brother, Elijah Melton; grandmother, Vicki Kingery and grandparents, Christopher and April Melton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
 
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Timothy Kingery.
 
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell.       
 
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the service time of 2:00 pm on Friday, July 14, 2023 at the funeral home.
